Arturs Jermolajevs (ArturJ Brain Games) built Shikaku Cafe (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and what choices you have.

Information We Collect

The App does not require you to create an account and does not collect your name, email address, or other directly identifying information.

The App stores the following information on your device:

Gameplay progress, such as completed levels, hints used, and scores
App settings and preferences, such as selected language and visual skin
In-app purchase entitlement status (which features you have unlocked)

Progress Backup

To restore your progress if you reinstall the App or change devices:

On iOS, gameplay progress is synced to your personal iCloud account using Apple's iCloud Key-Value Storage. This data is stored by Apple and is not accessible to us.
On Android, gameplay progress may be included in your device's Google backup, managed by Google.

Analytics

The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used, for example which levels are played, completed, or abandoned, and how features such as hints are used. This helps us improve the App. Firebase may collect an app instance identifier, device model, operating system, approximate location (country), and usage events. We do not use Firebase to collect advertising identifiers.

Advertising

The App shows ads (including rewarded and interstitial ads) through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location, and other information used to serve, limit, personalize, and measure ads.

Consent and Tracking

Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google's consent form before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the App's Settings under "Privacy choices".
On iOS, the App asks for permission to track through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, ads are not personalized based on tracking. You can change this at any time in your device's Settings.

In-App Purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases, processed entirely by Apple or Google. We do not collect or store your payment information. Purchases are subject to Apple's or Google's own privacy policies and terms.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Data Retention and Deletion

Data stored on your device is removed when you delete the App.
iCloud data can be managed in your device's iCloud settings.
Analytics data is retained by Google according to Google's retention settings.

To request deletion of analytics data associated with your device, contact us at the email below.

Your Choices

Change your ad consent in the App's Settings ("Privacy choices")
Allow or deny tracking in your device's Settings (iOS)
Limit ad tracking through your device's privacy settings
Delete the App at any time to remove locally stored data

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date.
